Feeling hopeful, and inspired by these two pieces.

Earlier this week I did some ERP during therapy, where I read out loud to my therapist. I struggle with re-reading ocd, so this sounded like my worst nightmare. But I pushed through, read out loud, stumbled, re-started, but did my best and in the end it hadn’t seemed so bad. Sure I was anxious but the anxiety ended up fading a bit as I continued on reading. ☺️


I wanted to share this story to give others hope in their fight for mental health and to say hope can go a long way. I will hold onto this hope ❤️; remaining hopeful that each week of reading will bring me back to who I used to be: an avid reader. Next week I will start working on a novel! Thanks for all the support everyone over these past few months, all the messages mean so much. 🙏🥰🤗
